I expect such lists would look very similar.

Hey, I want a province in the tropics! If everyone there agrees, I think it is a great idea. If there was a *What's Right With Americans*, the first thing on the list would be Hawaii and Puerto Rico, not to mention the US Virgin Islands (I think it is nice to have a whole group of islands just for them.....)



Anyway, as long as regular votes are held to keep the populace in touch with being annexed, it is a great idea. The minute they don't want to be Canucks, so be it. In the mean time, a loonie at par is a great idea in the Carribean. (but how should we pronounce it?)

Jamaica had a bobsled team, so why not a tropical province with a hockey team!

And, for goodness sake, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, the Yukon Territory, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut all get along fine as absolutely Canadian without an NHL team.


And I still think it's a little un-Canadian to think of having a Carribean province. Maybe we should try for the Falklands: cold, sheep, annoying neighbours; a perfect fit.
