I disagree on Oasis - at least on the first two albums anyway. They were carp after that.
Now Mariah Carey, what has she got about turning every word into a word of ten plus syllables? Mariiiiiaaaaaaeeeeeiiiiiiaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaah.

They make those Tv documentaries where they meet people and then catch up with them again 20 years later. They should do that with Blazin' Squad - meet them when they're 40 and see if they're still pretending to be streetwise blacks from the Bronx.

The only good thing about Blazin' Squad is that as long as people keep buying their records, they won't have to roam the streets stealing cars and terrorising old ladies.

10. Oasis (occassionally they release a song I can listen to. The rest of the time they insist on letting Liam sing)
9. Tom Jones
8. Radiohead (except Creep and Street Spirit)
7. Mariah carey (for god's sake woman, keep to the same ocatve for more than a line will you!)
6. Hear'Say (singing Bridge Over Troubled Water should be a capital offence unless you're Art Garfunkel)
5. Nickelback (Just dreadful)
4. Mike Oldfield (particularly anything remotely tubular or bell-like)
3. Carly Simon (*especially "you're So Vain")
2. Simply Red (except holding Back The Years)
1. Westlife (especially when they murdered Seasons in The Sun)

7 Busted - I nearly died laughing when I realised it wasn't a bunch of kiddies miming to their fave popstars, it actually WAS the band.
6,5,4,3,2 Westlife, Boyzone, Backstreet Boys, A1, Take That, - Cant separate them, dont see any need to, all s**te from the same ar$e along with anyone who looks like, sounds like, behaves like

I'm with Kelli - The Beautiful South are somewhere near the top of my bottom 10. Won't allow Bjork in there (like some but not all) and Radio head are up near the top of the faves list. Now Coldplay, however - just Rhead wannabes. The top 10 yucks would include:
- The Beautiful South
- Yes
- Meatloaf
- Genesis post-Peter Gabriel
- Simply Red
- Spice Girls/Boys, manufactured bands of any description (with the honourable exception of the Sex Pistols)
And of course any of the novelty grandparent loving nonsense, smurfs etc

It is the syrupy voice and irritatingly catchy tunes that won't get out of your head combined with the deeply bitter lyrics that gets to me.
Dolly Parton (mainly because it ws the only tape in the car on a 7 hour road trip and dad wouldn't let us turn if off).
