No shame in that.
I still don't know a bunch of the achronisms(sp...correct term?) myself, its' just that this one is an old one. I've seen you around in here for a while and figured you would know it.
There is a page, I think, somewhere on h2g2 that explains most of them, but god(sorry...this is an anarchist thread)help me to find it!
First point is, as I think you already know, never be afraid to ask.

Thanks, Ego.
I knew that wasn't right, and asked Monsy for a clarification.
She told me she knew right up until I asked her.
That pretty much left me "hung out to dry"!

Sorry, that should be "Egon"!
My index finger is a bit sore, so my typing is somewhat off tonight!

I do have an ego though.
And an id, if my understanding of psychology is right, which I'm fully aware it probably isn't.

He-he....
Am I accused of a "Freaudean(sp) Slip"?
Actually, I think your observation is true....only problem is that most of Sigmunds' theories have been disproven or put in a dimmer light due to modern advances in psycotherapy.
But who am I to say? I'm just a poor ol' southern US "inbred"!

I actually know very close to jack sh*t about psychology, psychotherapy, or indeed anything starting wwith psycho-

Flake99...believe it or not, most of us here rely on debating skills(of which I'm sorely lacking...so I depend on inflammatory remarks, sit back, and watch the fun),,,(oh, and most, who know me, know that. Those who don't, figure it out rather quickly!LOL)
Most here don't get into "name calling". There are a few threads here that have degenerated to that lately, but the "mods" do thier best to keep that to a minimum.
Don't worry, Egon. I doubt I know any more about psycology than you do. Just a few bits and pieces I've read over the years in various science magazines.
To quote one? Not possible. Been a subscriber to Discover Magazine for about 15 years(read "cover to cover"). I really don't want to "research and find so I can quote" a specific article. I am also not a big fan of internet searches...it takes away from time I could be spending BS-ing with folks on the net!
I have a job and a life. This computer is only here for entertainment.

"BS-ing"
I'm assuming that's an abbreviatian for what i think it's an abbrieviatian for.

Just thought I'd check.
See, I can work out what his abbreviatians stand for!
