Why is it that when I go to (illicitly)buy crisps all that's available is salt and vinegar flavour which I detest. My favourites cheese and onion or Branston pickle is hardly ever available (unless I go all the way into town).
So what are your favourite flavours and what heads your detest list?
Incog.

I detest cheese and onion. I like salt and vinegar but not when it is too strong, which it is in most crisps. Barbecue flavour and Worcester Sauce are great because nobody in the house except me will eat them, so I get all those ones from a mixed pack.

To be totally honest, my list is the exact opposite of yours!
Oh well, takes all sorts I guess.

Bad: Cheese 'n' onion (but not the Pringles, funnily enough), prawn cocktail, worcester sauce
Good: Chicken (especially Walkers ), cheesy Nik-Naks (although they were better before they tweaked the recipe), Frazzles.

Who remembers Savoury Vinegar by Smiths ? They came in a maroon packet and were my favourites.
I like salt and vinegar the best. I love most flavours but detest chicken ones and really cheesey ones.

I like most of them apart from thing like Wotsits....not a big Cheesy Puff fan...
My favorite thing is to get ttwo bags and make crisp cocktails :
1 salt and vinegar + 1 cheese and onion crisp ate at the same time gives a rather pleasant Pickled Onion flavour.....

Marmite - pretty good, but not as good as Smiths' Bovril (before they were bought out by Walkers).
The buy-out has resulted in one good thing - the new salt n' shake are excellent.

The original Golden Wonder Cheese and Onion - they changed the recipe about 10 years ago and they haven't been the same since.
Bring back beef monster munch!

There are only three real flavours for crisps - ready salted, salt and vinegar and cheese and onion (yuck>.
All the rest shopuld be banned by law as preposterous and too silly for words...

Prawn Cocktail are a definate favourite, which is odd as I am not that keen on Prawn Cocktail itself. I am looking forward to trying out Salt and Shake again though. Have a distinct hatred of all things Quaver like.

S&V is the best, but I'll eat anything except Prawn Cocktail flavour.
Wasn't there something about the top three flavours being:
Ready Salted
Salt and Vinegar
Cheese and Onion
Although not necessarily in that order ...

Ohhhh. I am in heaven. This is the PERFECT thread!!!!
Favorites : Brannigans Roast Beef and Mustard, and also their Cheddar Cheese. Any McCoys (especially the Balti, the Curry and the firecracker chicken flavours). Prawn Cocktail - but not Walkers because they tweaked their recipe and now their version taste . Kettles Chips are gorgeous. Smiths Salt 'n' Shake. Dorito's. Pringles.
Dislikes : Walkers. YUCK!
I have a crisp fetish...mmmmmmmmmmmm...

Likes: Ready Salted, especially Kettle Chips
Dislikes: Anything else, really - it's all artificially flavoured muck!
I do have a soft spot for wotsits and cheddar biscuit things, but they ain't crisps!

I'm not a big crisp fan...it's the potato thing (never liked potatoes, only ate crisps age 10+, chips age 14+ still can't stomach roasties or mashed or boiled or anything other than crisps and chips its a texture thing))
My all time favourites...Beef Monster Munch...the old yellow packets - they don't do em any more and they've made them more "bitesized" (smaller)
I'm not overkeen on the really strong flavoured ones, mainly because I seem to absorb smells and it feels a bit antisocial to breathe cheese and onion on people all day
I like *different* crisps...mainly salt and vinegar (unless it's too strong or I'm feeling dehydrated) so french-fries (bubbly) and square crisps (pointy) and discos (crispy) are all ok every now and then.
Love pringles though...especially their ruffled/flat ready salted ones with a big pot of salsa
And Dorito's with a hint of lime
