so far today i have both forgotten to wash my hair and put on deoderant. despite distinctly remembering putting deoderant on this morning it now appears i did not. and despite thinking 'do i need to wash my hair today' somehow the message got lost on the way to the action part of my brain.

then the car had a fit on the way to work and lots of nasty things happened at work when i finally got here.

i'm feeling really rubbish now and i'm just hoping someone out there is having a bad day too.

oh yeah, and i'm here for 11 and a half hours.

The server I was working on decided not to start up when I rebooted it. Now I'll have to wait hours while some Operating System guy sorts it out. What will I do all day? Besides posting on h2g2, of course!

Well I found out yesterday that I've virtually no money for a social life for the rest of the month.

This morning my spectacles broke and my spare pair seem to have taken a trip to planet Zog.
Damn.

i suppose as ling as you have enough for rent and food then it's not too bad, but not being able to see,.....bit of a bummer

I do have a credit card but I really didn't want to have to resort to that I'm not too bad without my specs but I really shouldn't drive without them and I can't watch telly very easily.
No choice though.

Specs always wait till you're skint before breaking.

My day is rapidly going downhill. I'm now stuck on my own in the library surrounded by a large group of bouncy sports students and a network system that keeps crashing. Doesn't look like I'll be getting lunch today.

Shouldn't moan too much I suppose, at least I can't work the graveyard shift on my own…

Well, it seems my glasses may be repairable. There does seem to be a reason to buy the expensive 'designer' one then.

This may only cost a tenner and the cost of a preparatory eye test (in case they aren't repairable).

Things are looking up.

They can be….it's all the testosterone I'm sure; can't keep them penned up inside for too long or the hormones start flying. The countryside lot are much easier to deal with, friendlier too!

the catalogue is actaully causing the most problems here. just got a new setup and like most things that are supposed to be progress, it doesnt work.
