Apparently the oil used by early Christians contained a cannabis extract called kaneh-bosem which is absorbed through the skin and helps cure a range of illnesses and diseases. Theres a recipe for the oil in the Bible which says it had more than six pounds of the stuff mixed with other herbs in six quarts of olive oil.

I've heard of this before... Apparently Christ was anointed with this oil.

Quite possibly, most of todays drugs were derived from old wives tales and ancient times...
