What a honer you bestow on me, I only hope I can do it justice... I think I need to think first... I liked the idea of putting it all together, spell checking, tidying it a very* little* bit and submitting to the post I'll be back

Wow! Am I really in the "Nighthoover" thread? Am I worthy? I shall be careful as I fear everywhere I tread I could stand on the creator!

Hast thou read the Holy Backlog? All of it?
Fear not that ye may tread on the Prophet, for it is in the holy nature of Nighthoover to follow our footsteps, cleansing the carpet we have besmirched with our shabbily shod feet and restoring it to a state free of the stain of sin, or for that matter the sin of stains. Such was the revelation vouchsafed to me on reading the Holy Backlog...
Ivan.

Mmmm? 2000 posts? I reckon I've heard most of it from 2legs banging on about Nighthoover down the pub.
So many questions, my thoughts on the universal make up have truely been turned on their head.....I think therefore Nighthoover!

I've done it... read the whole thing. It took me a couple of days, and probably cost me what little remained of my sanity. But I'm alright now.

Once you've done the backlog it's fun to pull the cancel thread up in Goo and hit a random LED... I just did and came across 2legs going a bit squirrel over Onion Pellets of all things.

Only finish it if you feel it needs finishing... I left it open for more but it has a nice Lady and the Tiger/keep 'em guessing feel to it now.

I've copied all the parts of the story to a Word document, for spell-checks and such (can you believe that the spellchecker didn't recognise the word "nighthoover"?!)... I have some sort of an ethical problem with changing the word "teh", as it seems that it's almost a nighthooverite trademark.

Actually, the end is probably fine as it is, kind of cliff hanger, like a moovie that is set up for a sequel, or, actually, most good books which don't often resolve everything at the end u going to submitt itto the post then? we'l have to all go down as contributors to it

I'd colour code it, at least for the unedited entry.

What was the bit about colour-coding, CZ?

If you do a normal (unedited) guide entry you could have the text in different colours for the different contributers... Just a thought.
