Mmmm... being gorgeous, loverly to talk and sooo nice... doesn't make for much comfort when one is still single...

Something special happened today. Here in Kuching it seems I can't walk down the street without having people greet me and women smile at me. But I haven't been able to figure out wether the smiles are because they are happy to see me, or because they just find me funny to look at.

Today I was waiting on the bus and fiddling with my radio when I suddenly hear a lot of hellos. I look up and there's a class of girls walking by, all waving and saying hi. As mentioned that isn't that unusual. But this time one of them yelled "You're very beautiful!" to me. One of them further down in the row then yelled "You're very hmm... handsome!" as she went by. I guess maybe I have finally found a place in the world where the women have good taste

It's a funny old game. Just as I was getting used to being on my own and enjoying my own company I met someone lurvely. Funny how that happens, I've heard it said many times, too.
