ive been watching the film since being about 7 and loved it. i didnt know it was based on a book untill i was 15 when i found it in the school library. but it did take me untill i was 17 t actually read it. in the summer holidays between the 2 years of sixth form.

i hate only having half my book collection here, its meant ive found the need to buy more books. which isnt good when there is no longer anywhere to store them at home anyway!!!!1

Jim just got home from his first orientation day - he has two big course books, and I've been looking through one of them. The first lab is all about microscopy. Wonderful fun! He's already started collecting the phone numbers of his classmates (mostly women and girls... )

i do cell biology so i do it and its not that much fun! but everything else is more interesting.

the practical isnt even slighlty interesting and there is alot of reasearch which needs to be done too so i can do references etc.

Jim is looking over my shoulder and just said "gack! Research is evil, but unfortunately for us, it is compulsory."...

You probably should ask for an extension. But wait a mo', it's only Wednesday there, innit?

technically its thursday now. its 1.52am on thursday! ill see how much i can get done in the morning and then see about the extension. i should get it done really had extensions before and i end up stressing and rushing several assignments when final deadlines all arrive.

It's terrible when they all arrive at once, isn't it? with your assignment. Gas chromatography really does sound interesting...
