Hardly idle chit-chat, but I thought I'd best pass this along - as I type this she's in an Oregon hospital. Her cousin sent a blanket e-mail to her close friends last Tues.(at least I received it Tues.). She was in a bad accident early Mon. morning & sustained multiple injuries, although she's as good as can be expected right now...& the prognosis is good!
Although recovery(first in Oregon, then in California once she's stabilized)will be gradual, due to the nature of the injuries.
For inquiring minds, those multiple injuries were; a punctured lung, torn spleen, fractured sternum & upper left ribs. She spent five hours in surgery-during which they stopped internal bleeding & removed the spleen. Then due to complications from anesthesia, she spent an extra three hours in recovery. Fortunately she had been wearing her seatbelt & was napping in the backseat, using a teddybear as a pillow.
That protected her face when the impact threw her forward. So the only head injury was a cut lip.
I would've posted earlier but I was in shock myself...

As far as I know, Cynthesis is a singer, so a punctured lung will affect her very seriously.
We were already aware of this - but you feel so helpless.
I'll be praying for her.
What happened to the others involved in the accident? Does anyone know?

The driver who caused it(the accident)was charged, I don't know anything else just now. Must 
to check e-mail...
