Zak, you seem confused. Something isn't spam because it's a joke, something is spam because it's being sent to people who aren't interested in it.
That's the case here -- this place is only for the staff members to post on, because posting here hits almost every active member of the board -- and they are subscribed to this page to hear what the staff have to say, not what you have to say.
If you are looking to start a conversation about this, try <./>Askh2g2</.>. If you're just wanting to post your warning over and over again, you need to go some place else, because h2g2 isn't the place for that.
