There seems to be a request to start a don't ban Owlatron bit. So here it is. I'll start:

I don't think Owlatron should be banned.

Uh, out of the list of infringements of the House Rules, plus warnings and suspensions, which are to be attributed to Owlatron and which to Luke?

someone who freely admits in a public forum to be a fan of sabrina [the TV series] has guts me thinks...

on that basis i say "don't ban owlatron"... [please... pretty please...]

Don't ban Owlatron, it was not his fault he has unpleasant friends who use his account.

And I think he'll make sure no-one has access to his account after this!

Yeah, I won't belabor the points I made in the other thread either. But Owlatron thanks you all for your support, and hopefully we'll be able to see him soon!

yep, that's a lesson for all of us there... and it would be a shame that owlatron be punished for his misplaced trust...

The time to post anything in these threads will be over on the 30th. The Eds will take time to deliberate and announce a decision when they reached one (I guess it will take some time as the case does not seem very clear cut (at least to me) and it also seems like two individuals are involved. A, AFAIK, new situation for a lifetime ban procedure). This announcement will be made on this page and maybe at the Soapbox, too.

So crunch times tommorow then? That came round quick! I think the editors have got a very difficult job, though I hope that they see the support for Owlatron. I am not someone who will back someone without a cause. I have only encountered Luke and Castaway (assumably they are the same person) out of the rest of the names. I don't like seeing someone hard done by, and believe the banning of Owlatron would be extreemly harsh. At the end of the day though it is up to the editors to read all this, take it all in, and make their decision. Gook Luck.

Andy/Owlatron's account U197864 still appears to be suspended, whilst Luke's multitude of accounts have had the "account suspended" header removed.

An oversight I presume.

Just a thought, but if Andy had the courtesy to contact the editors, pointing out that he was Owlatron and attempting to unravel this twisted tale, would this not show him as a person of good faith, more sinned against than sinner?

No-one has hinted at any communication from Luke/Robbie, have they?
