roast beef with roast potatoes, carrots and sprouts and onion gravy for dinner tonight smiley - drool
it's a bit of a change for us to have beef to tell the truth, we usually choose pork for a roast but the beef looked really nice at the butchers the other day.

Tomorrow we are determined to do some Christmas shopping and get it behind us before the crowds realise that it will be the festive time of year soon and mob the shops, I've just had a tidy up of Ephraim's room today so I'm feeling a bit better now, sometimes there is just so much clutter that it drives you potty,

we need to have a proper clean and tidy in the living room this week but unfortunately I will be out all week till evening each day so it will mostly fall to Joe to tidy before his birthday party on Saturday, it's not actually his birthday that day but it was the best day for us to have people round,

I haven't baked scones yet, it may be a rhubarb crumble rather than pie but its not that big of a change,

Ohh and Christmas market at Manchester on Tuesday smiley - magic
first time I will have gone

well we managed to do some Christmas shopping when we got home it appearers we have missed three parcels yay
one from royal mail that's fine I'll go into town and pick it up probably on wednesday but maybe tomorrow
then there is one from parcel force they left it with the neighbour, the nice one not the crazy one which is always a relief
three... well three was DHL and it got sent back to there centre in Manchester... Trafford... middle of no-where so I had to call them and arrange to pick it up in Lancaster when I go into college smiley - biggrin
hopefully its the bottle of rum i got for mums christmas I don't know if she actually drinks rum but the bottle was shaped like a pirate pistol which is always cool smiley - magic

so after reading KBs journal I also purchased some stollen (well that's my excuse) I don't know how long it will last before we eat it all smiley - drool although I don't really like marzipan smiley - erm

off to Manchester tomorrow for the christmas market so undoubtedly will get a few sweet treats, perhaps something for in the stockings, although talking of stockings I can never get them to stay up so I have to wear the suspender sort but that feels awkward for general day use, and I got a ladder in my favourite pair which leaves me with the non-suspender ones (holdups?) and fishnets.... smiley - erm am I channelling 2legs? smiley - cheesesmiley - handcuffssmiley - winkeye

well the christmas market was nice if a little repetitive, you dont really need to move past the town centre to see a bit of everything...
well except the macaroon stall £1 each... smiley - yikes and Joe's little brother kept insisting they were pronounced mac-a-rons which is just wrong

we got off at deans gate, a hideous brown tiled interior with some sort of polytunnel connection to a tram stop and walked the rest of the way to the main site just outside the town hall, the sausage thing is nice (bratwurst?)and I had apple strudel and bought some ginger bread smiley - drool oh and a chocolate coated banana on a stick... so that was fun
then we went to travelling man where i bought a paper construct skeleton and the newest expansion for gloom

then we eventually got home after they got the paralytically drunk man off the train. I had a lovely warm shower and finally got round to dying my hair - more undiluted ribena rather than csi photo-shoot red...

spaghetti on toast for dinner, didn't feel like much after all that bratwurst and other stuff (although we havn't actually eaten the gingerbread) now to quickly make a final edit to the essay for tomorrow

one or two minor changes to make
we found out or human physiology tutor is quitting as of next week so we dont even know who will be taking over that lesson as of yet smiley - yikes
sometimes I wonder if I'm even destined to finish this course or indeed if there will be a course to finish

Peanut

Look at you, with good essays and ucas forms, smiley - applause and working around the timetable that keeps changing,

never mind the spanner chucked in with your heating earlier this month and all that entails keeping house and home, which is enough without the spanners if I may say so smiley - winkeyesmiley - whistle

Good for you for *all* your accomplishments

and for the amazing person you are

How is that skeleton coming along?

smiley - smiley Good that things go well. I hope you have a nice birthday party.

Here it's also quite cold at the moment. We had the first snow of the season this year, not a lot, it didn't stay on the ground, but the flakes were pretty. At other times we had a nasty icy wind.

mmm... gingerbread... good call, I have* to buy some gingerbread for Christmas! was going to make some, but I had real trubbles finding a gingerbred man 'cutter' the right size in teh shops smiley - grr

I awas find the hold-up stockings far easier to wear, and more comfortable than stockings plus suspender and less inconvenient than tights smiley - blush guess it depends on sizing, and how well therefore anygiven pair, at agiven size, actually fits ones lgs, to whether they stay up, nicely, without being uncomfortable smiley - blush hmmm.... most of mine are pretty cheap ones, nothing wildly fancy or exotic, because I'm cheap when it comes to paying money out on clothes and things smiley - blushsmiley - 2cents
damnit... I want gingerbread now! smiley - laugh and well done for completing it, if indeed you did... did you log each days post? (I frgot after the middle of teh month, to post a link to teh main page) smiley - blushsmiley - magic
