Is absolutely the biggest waste of time in my day. I could do the same stuff in half the time, but they want me at my desk for some reason.

For me too. Taking that job was one of my bigger mistakes. The job was offered to me, it's a postion where I can get a PHD.
Point1: Who cares about the research anyway?
Point2: I get paid fo 20 hours a week, and have to work 50 to 60!
Point3: My boss is a (//&%&$§&%$/&§%!
I have a solution, though. I'm looking for a new job right now. Hope I find one soon.

whats all this sitting at a desk business about?
does it mean i'm working more?
i even try n bring stationary in to write in my spare time n i get disciplined bcoz my office manager is mental
looking 4 another job is the only thing i have a right to do at work

in fact i'm not supposed 2b on this bcoz my manager is so thick they think u can get a virus from a bulletin board
