Ooooh, maybe if you get it working you gould write an entry on it for others to use! How would you make sure that it was an official h2g2er writing to their own journal?

I have just done so! I present inject2g2, found at http://www.ianferguson.me.uk/inject2g2
It's pretty basic, but should work on all browsers capable of handling HTML (basically everything except WAP phones, but I could make a WML version quite easily if anybody wanted it).
Just made my first journal posting with it too

Oh and the h2g2 page for it is A809705, which is a better address to quote people, as there can be discussion there and wotnot.

i submit no view about flash sites being bad as mine is all flash.
the one before it i made was also all flash.
The one bofore that had some flash.
None of the three sites have any real content.
but thats because i made them as i was learning how to use flash, not make a good site.
i do agree that flash banner ads are pure evil though.
If you do feel like visiting my sites however...

(the images and possibly links on the two latter sites may have become invalid as i moved them to the old folder)

So long as there is an alternative to the flash I don't see a problem. I just don't like being told you will sit and wait while I load this huge site just to make it that little bit prettier.
