I also find this group factastically intriguing and would be moderately less grumpy, were I allowed admittance to the group.

Now that I'm a grandpa (without even a "by your leave") I need a retreat from all the smiles and "goo goo iddy bitty" nonsense.
I've followed the teachings of Al Bundy for years but I'm starting to feel outnumbered here.

I sympathise - grown-ups going all gurgly over screaming infants is one of my least favourite things too. 
I must admit that I never watched 'Married... With Children'. I just assumed that family sitcom = 
. But I've looked up some of the sayings of Al Bundy, and I was impressed enough to add him to the Heroes of P.U.D.D.I.N.G.!
