Well, if you will insist on throwing out rubbish without washing it first....

smiley - huh Is your erstwhile landlady some kind of... how can I put this politely and in a politically correct way... nutter?

How often does she check rubbish bins for the purity of their contents, anyway?

Mad. Quite, quite, mad.

I thought we'd already established that in the other thread.

I'm still interested in how many times she's made it a full year without falling out with her lodger. Or how many times she's made it a full month...

Can I just repeat that? smiley - huh

Je ne comprends pas. Did you ask how clean the rubbish should be? Did she do everything by the board? If not, go to the CAB and have her detained under section 18 of the Mental Health Act for being a old biddy.

Liam.

Apparently the guy who was last in my room made it an entire 5 years. Poor bugger.

I should have very little problem finding accommodation, there's loads in Swansea, and the school have given me Wednesday off to go looking. Only because it's a 'reward trip' day for the kids, mind you, and the only alternative for me would be watching Lord of the Bloody Rings with 170 13-year-olds.

She's had one girl there for at least a year. smiley - yikes

Phone the accomodation office and see if you can move into the student village. People may had dropped out of their courses after the first term.

The only problem with that is cost. Nigh on £75 a week, in actual fact. Which really isn't on when I could get a room for £40 elsewhere.

Yes. She'll let me stay until the end of January if I want, but I think I'd rather get out over New Year.
