Right - enough of 'funny' journal postings. I've actually got something important going on in my life to report:

I have been offered a place at University of Wales, Swansea to study a PGCE!smiley - smiley

Tis will neatly encapsulate two loose ends in my life, namely the lack of career progression, and the fact that I live 230 miles away from my girlfriend.

Well, time to break out the smiley - bubbly, I think.

Post Graduate Certificate in Education - a one yr course which gets you QTA qualified teaching something.

*wonders off muttering about how sad it is that I know that trying to justify it with "I work at a uni" excuse and failing*

Congrats Bsmiley - ok

Congrats B smiley - alesmiley - biggrin

A PGCE is a Post Graduate Certificate of Education. It's compulsory for those wanting to teach 11-18 year olds in the UK.

Good luck B.

Liam.

I'm glad some people are supportive of teaching - I've had nothing but warnings ever since I declared I was going to do a PGCE.smiley - smiley

I think the potential job satisfaction is my main reason, though.
