Ska Modus Hoperandi
A rather delicious IPA in a can. Not quite a hop bomb in the mould of Stone Ruination or Avery Maharaja but not far off. A very pleasant 65 IBUs of piney, resinous American Humulus lupulus. Mmmmmm, I love American IPAs.
Brooklyn Chocolate Stout
A Russian Imperial Stout of impeccable quality. I generally have this one as a nightcap but I was in a playful, devil-may-care mood this evening and had it far earlier. A little on the sweet side for my preferences as far as stouts go but well worth the inconvenience.
Real Ale Phoenixx Double ESB
My last bottle of Real Ale's late winter seasonal The hops have faded a little but that just allows the English crystal malts to come to fore. I love this beer. And it's almost time for Real Ale Lost Gold IPA. Why, that's very nearly my favourite beer in the whole wide world
