Great party, even if I did have to go to Waterstones to sneak a look at the A - Z to find the place. Sorry to anyone I didn't get to speak to, or should that be sorry to those that I did? Anyhow, I had a great time so you might be stuck with me for the next one (although possibly not the U.S. meet... but then you never know...).

Those pictures are superb, Gnomon. Everyone should go and see them. Thank you particularly for the one of Anna and Dominic, who I missed for reasons not to be gone into here.

gnomon, nice piccies! good to see the assembled HooToo crowd look nothing like a bunch of misfits and weirdos at all! Still, at least I know I'll blend in
Ne'er mind, will HAVE to make sure I get to the next one now.

Mucho Thankos to all the organisers, it was a terrific evening, and fantastic to meet so many other researchers.
Here's to the next one!

May I take this opportunity to add my own thanks to all who organsied this party/pub quiz.
Having initailly been most resistant to attending - and only going because of my great love for my best friend -LuckyStar - I have to say I had a really great evening.
I should also like to take a moment to formally to thank the very chraming young man who taught me to properly appreciate pipe smoking

Oh, I'd rather assumed that Munchers was the charming young man. Do we have other charming young men on h2g2?
