Never mind. It takes a strong person to admit they were in the wrong park. You learnt your mistake and were able to move on. (To the right one)

'Short' that should say. (Don't worry I never make sense)

I'm not sure if we'll need the list updated to show who definitely attended or not. I'll ask Abi tomorrow, but you can take the rest of the day off if you like.

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Jul 22, 2002
Would it be worth modifying the list to include only those people who came (to the party, that is)? I know that some people didn't turn up. I didn't see Kaz and Moonglum, for example, although they may have been hidden in a corner somewhere. The list could then serve as a record of the party. Abi would know exactly who was there, since she provided the free drinks.
But maybe that's too much work.

You can call me TC Posted Jul 22, 2002
Well - it ought to say who did actually come in the end. And it ought to have links to photos. But apart from that - you did a grand job, Amy. Thanks
I was in the wrong park too (ask anyone I spoke to) and I saw you there Frankie - didn't know it was you until later on though! You reminded me of one of my kids' friends (who's a drummer. Say no more) so that's how I recognised you later on. It was very confusing for a non-Londoner and I felt like a bat in a microwave.
And very silly. But I have the excuse that I'm female and sense of direction is not a female thing.
Did I tell you about the pervert on the train?

Nope, go on...
Strange that we were both in the same wrong park together...

Well, if the list is modified, I do know some that just went to the park, and not to the pub...

Mina Posted Jul 22, 2002
Abi will be in tomorrow, and she has the final list. I think the list of attendees will include everyone who attended, even if they only came for a short time.

Hi Everyone,
It was great to see those of you I did see (I was in the right park but not in the pub). Wish I'd spotted Whoami though...
Trillian's Child - lovely to meet you and Zarquon's Singing Fish (the Holy being silent) because I've been intrigued by both names.
Great to meet Frankie and Peregrine, Jau'amne and others. Very briefly GT Bacchus too.
Excuse not remembering more. Am in a bit of pain typing as I put my back out carrying the beagle up the escallator back home. Prat...just waiting for the lovely Bernadette from 360 Holistic health to come round and give me a healing massage.
Do tell about the pervert on the train...if not here, come and have a cozy gossip on my page!

"You reminded me of one of my kids' friends (who's a drummer. Say no more)"
And what, TC, is that supposed to mean?

coelacanth Posted Jul 22, 2002
Trust me to do the sensible thing and drive up and back. So far it seems I missed a nude chair stacker at the Barbican, snogging on the Tube and now a pervert on the train.

I think we've had enough gossip for one day already maggy!

Mina Posted Jul 22, 2002
I missed it too. I missed *being* the gossip too. I must arrange the winter meet for a day that Blues Shark is doing something much more important. The won't tell.
