That reminds me - who here has seen "Button Moon" - a kids program about 20 years ago. I loved that when I was a kid, and the lead character was called "Mr Spoon"

My mum bought what she thought was a pickle grabber in a hypermarket in France. It turned out to be a tool for extracting pickled snails from tall jars - but she uses it for pickled onions.
It wasn't a spoon at all, it was a quite long metal rod with a small mechanical claw at one end and a lever at the other to make the claw open and close.
This exciting story was brought to you to introduce the idea that spoons are not the be all and end all. linking smoothely to -
Paintbrushes make great stirring 'tools' and don't make that annoying clanking noise when you're trying to drink Tea/Coffee/Hot-Chocolate/Soup/Milk/Vodka/Pickle Brine in secret, such as when you're in the College art studio pretending to paint a picture. Also, I would like to say a word for 'Sporks' (I have a collection of these in my locker in College. You get them free in Boots when you buy cake.)
These are the spoon/fork hybrids someone was talking about earlier.

Gladly! Like I said you get one free inside the box a carrotcake comes in from Boots, but not only there! The best sporks come from vending machine pot noodles. (The normal pot noodle doesn't come with a spork coz it's assumed you will eat it indoors and will have a fork and a spoon) These sporks you build yourself outta two pieces that you snap from the lid, IT'S A TRIUMPH OF DESIGN!!! (Sorry about that, but we say stuff like that in design class to make our blatant eating of food look like research.) A friend of mine emailled me a newspaper clipping of Clinton holding a spork I'll send it to a if you want to see it to compare to your spork! I think I've written to much and I can't remember what you asked me now so seeya!

I'm English - well, from the Isle of Wight, which is close enough. Do they do Pot Noodle vending machines????? I can't remember seeing one. Are the noodles edible or warm?
As for Boots - I heard that they've recently opened one in Tokyo, so they may well have them in the US - I don't know. I tend not to go into Boots as they stink of perfumes.

Bluebottle, I've just been to your homepage here and it's really colourful. How'd you do that?! I've onl been to the Isle of Wight once, and was drunk in a tent for most of that week! Has anone ever been to Oxfordshire? I'm from Grove in the south if anyone knows it.
P.S. the 'I haven't a clue' was in reference to the vending machine pot noodles, I enjoy the amusing cuttlery, but the noodles make me chuck.

Yes, we do have sporks in the US. They are commonly used in the cafeterias of both grade & high school. After that, we usually never see them again.

Colours - most of them are easily done by, in GuideML, typing this is red
simple as that. And I'd e-mailed Aendr, sorry.

I figured that, it's just that when I read what I put it looked like I didn't and I tried to correct it and I have said 'I' way to many times.
Thanks for the font thingy.
