A Conversation for Tea

Many Americans that I personally know and drink with, do in fact drink tea. Alot of tea. We drink it many different ways. (Boiling isn't the only way to make good tea.)
One is Sun Tea. We place tea bags in a large jar with warm water and let sit for an afternoon. When its done it's great.
Another is that store bought powder stuff. Lipton and Nestea are good. This method ,however, is considered a 'Redneck' idea and isn't very publicised.
If you probably haven't figured yet is that these methods are for ICED tea. It might not quite be the same but it's great if your'e not quite rich or classy enough for warm tea.

Concurence from one peanut in the galleria. I being american like tea, all kinds. Salada is the best. I think basically the stereotype for lacadaisical english tea drinkers just doesn't fit america, (even though we drink a lot of tea) We are supposedly not classy enough to be dubbed hardcore teadrinkers. Eh, what can you do.

We Americans are great arn't we. We mostly believe in the same things, like tea. I would LIKE to see just how many Americans like tea and confess to it.

I *LOVE* tea. In fact, yesterday, I had a whole kettle, all by myself. And it was real tea, the boiled kind. I don't know how to make it myself, but my mom, you see, she went to a British school and they had a class in it, just like they had a class in crochet. But yes! And I put the milk in first just like Douggy.

Americans LIKE tea, but we don't get misty-eyed over it, nor do we reserve a certain part of the day for it. I think the motherland should come to realize they've got an obsessive behavior, and seek counseling.
Being a Southern Californian with an overabundance of sun, I've often enjoyed a nice glass of iced sun tea at my grandmother's house. Her brewing method is slightly different than the one mentioned above. She places a 2 gallon jug outdoors, laden with as many tea bags as she can stuff inside (yeah, they're Lipton's. So what?! ) and a few lemon slices. This mixture stays outdoors for as long as it takes her to finish the jug brewed before it, which usually takes several days.

I think I do have an obsession. I have no Lipton's. It's Drury Earl Grey. And I drink it all day. I have some now. I take it in those little coffee holders.
I... I just don't know what to do.
