Avenging Washcloth, An unhurried sense of time is, in itself, a form of wealth. Started conversation Feb 26, 2004
This is the source clip of the oddly disturbing 'Quizno's Subs' advertisement seen currently on US TV. I rather like it, coz it's weird.

I haven't seen whatever Quizno ad to which that is related. Which might be why that page seems more than just a little disturbing.

I just don't get where the people at Quizno's think these rats will make their sandwiches seem appealing. Ooooooo, yeah. I wanna run right out and buy food after looking at strangely-deformed-levitating-road-kill with *those* teeth.

Oooooo, yeah. I'll take the 'Santa Fe Road Kill Combo'.

You know how I feel about rats... That ad is about the best way to insure I wouldn't eat at quizno's, by associating their food with rats.

Check out the dollar off commercial.
I *have* eaten at Quiznos a couple times in the past. Their subs are really quite good ... beat Subway to heck and gone.

There is nothing quite like the adrenaline rush from walking into a dark empty building first thing in the morning only to hear scurrying...flicking on the lights and realizing the scurrying critter wasn't running away .

No kidding. One of the guys I wo*k with was telling me that he once stocked shelves at night at a local grocery store. When they would go in to the otherwise empty building and flick on the light switch in the locker area, *things* scattered to find a place to hide. Evidently, grocery stores just can't completely rid themselves of vermin, since bugs and stuff constantly come in from warehouse deliveries.
ACK!
I *won't* bring home boxes for packing and moving from the grocery store ... no way!
We're lucky here, because in our cold climate, the bugs never have much chance to survive for long. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

It's the climate, alright. Those nasty bugs migrate here because they don't like the cold.

Hmmm... loved the original Rathergood.com clip, ...but not the commercial.
Still, must be a fun way to earn a living!

Pah! Old news!
Those Quisnos people are just weird ... aren't they the ones that had that guy that was raised by wolves?

Yes, people ... I'm the last person on the block to hear about *any* news. Sorry about that, Shea. I'm glad Candi liked it anyway.

No AW, you're not the last person on the block to hear about things.
*I* am.
I *still* haven't had the *pleasure* of seeing the Quizno's ad...
Maybe it's just as well?

Move over, AW. You're third from the end, after me and Lady Scott.
I've never seen *any* Quizno's ads, because I haven't turned my television on since before 9/11/01.
