How about "cookies*.dat" in your Opera directory? Can't see how you'll go and delete ony one of 'em...

Opera doesn't like Goo very much does it. Spaces all over the place. Also it doesn't seem to get on with the applet on the comedy clubs homepage all the time.

It's a mess. I've gone back to alabaster. there was a big gap on the left and a void top and center.

I seem to find that it depends on what pages you're looking at. I always run Opera at at least 1024x768, and the only time I get 'gaps' is when writing a new post. I would supect it's due to the layout of the page - the 'Post to a Conversation' banner in Goo is about three pixels too tall for the left hand frame. Then again, I haven't looked at the HTML code for H2G2, so I'll admit I'm guessing.
I have to just say that Opera really shows how much better it is than other browsers for this site. Toggle the 'load/show' images button so that it only shows images that are in the cache and watch it fly! Of course, you have to open the smilies page (<./>Smiley</.> if you haven't been here for a while to get all the usual images loaded, but after that it's just plain text transfers. Faster than Menza downing Guinness...

page up - all links working
The site that host most of the web panels was down for a few day's
here's why
"sys admin is getting married on Feb 2 so he may be on vacation and difficult to reach.
I'm not sure how the bride would like him doing a remote login during the honeymoon. Could cause some marital discord early in the union. Actually I know he would fix it if he knew about it. The latests apache errors when you try to connect are this.
[Fri Feb 1 14:34:33 2002] [error] (22)Invalid argument: getsockname"
all working now

So how do I begin to allow pop-up windows, again? I haven't seen the 'who's online' bar for so long I've forgotten what it looks like!
Thanks for your help

From the 'File' menu in Opera
Preferances
Windows
& there should be a dropdown box (I find open in backround is a nice compromise)
