Thanks! I've wondered about F12 until just now, but it's amusing that a dead conversation is getting so much attention!

There are a strange number of dead conversations... Even ones that don't tie up with anything... Strange.

Who or what keeps you from hitting that button?

Maybe it's a bug:
The entry is moderated away, but the conversation forum still shows the offensive title

There is no working -button there. I also enjoy the idea of the Italics/old writing team to be on record for telling someone "to shut the f**k up"...

You don't need that button. The standard lines

Are we violating the rules if we do NOT yike such an obvious violation?

Opera is really nice! I've been using it for a few months now.
I love the google search, which I had to implement in Netscape with a javascript: bookmark. Opera 6 also has wonderful support for alternative character encodings (I often view CP1251 cyrillic websites). And, most importantly, it is very good on my 486DX2/66 MHz, especially considering the limited disk space I have
Great CSS, HTML and Javascript support should also be added to the equation.

Hi All *waves* well you may well have one more convert here I think. I decided to try opera after reading the edited guide entry on it. It's all downloading and installed and I'm amazed by the speed of it to be honest. I connect to the internet using our home network, which was too slow for Goo using IE forcing me to make the traumatic decsion to switch to alabaster . Now I can use goo again and I am very very so a for enlighting me.
I love the fact that they have different skins and also it feels less scary that using internet explorer, where I was always worried about the cookies that might be stored on my computer, it asks me first.
I'm having trouble working out all the sortcuts but I'm sure I'll sort them out. Help this is starting to sound like an advert so i'd better put in the negative bit. As I have a very small monitor that only does low resoultion unless I have the screen maximised I can hardley see the actual webpage. Does anyone have a solution?
but in general
A very new convert.

Go to preferences -> Browser Layout and fiddle with the toolbars so that they take up less space. You might also want to hide The Personal Bar and set the main bar to simple layout (both of these under the View dropdown menue).
Lastly, yyou could set the default zoom to 90% or so to see more of a given page.
and welcome to Opera!

Hey fellow Operanians!
I'm not a "very new convert", though. Nice that Nokia has decided to use Opera in their new phones, btw.
A very new convert.
