Welcome, hands out membership badge (you unroll your trouser leg now) smiley - smiley

I hope to be able to expand the page to be more useful over the next few weeks, and hopefully the threads hanging off this page can be used to promote the use of Opera, to share tips & tricks & to help those with technical problems.

I’m pretty ok in terms of technical competence with the windows version, but I would love & co-author(smiley - geek) who knows about the Linux version.

Hum... I use the 5.0 for Linux. Looks good. Works fine. Rather similar to the Windoze one. smiley - winkeye

There you go. One other thing. As I'm also a member of SPAM (Society for the Prevention of Apostrophe Abuse), shouldn't it be "Opera Users' Group" or "Opera User's Group"?

I'm not really here

Yes, add me please. smiley - smiley
I've put my google search in the address bar, so I don't even have to click anything to find what I want. smiley - smiley This is very interesting, because I only use what I know, I've been too lazy to investigate everything that Opera does, finding the panels was very handy, I'm going to put the menu frame from my personal page in there. smiley - smiley I'm also going to put the who's online window in as a panel, then I can use the pop up killer. Hurrah!
Thanks. smiley - smiley

Now that's a good idea. It means I no longer have any use for Ad Subtract, so I can get rid of that smiley - smiley

Other things which are good about Opera:
- Very small programme, thus it can be run on older computers... which other current browser can you use on a Pentium I 90 MHz?!
- The "Open In Background" feature
- The "Google Search" panel / "double click on a word" menue
