Ooh, badges - can I have one too please? I'm happy to roll up my trouser leg if you think it will help.

I'm on v 6.0, and very pleased with it too. The panels are smiley - cool

Greetings people.

I'm an IE5.5 user. *ducks expecting to be bombarded with rotten fruit or bill gates dolls with cheese for eyes and a wooden leg*

So, this opera thingummie, is there still a shareware/freeware version available? I wouldn't mind trying it.

I suppose the problem fro someone like me, who has used IE since day one, is I'm kind of institutionalised.

once seen opera's:
- the panel
- real full screen (F11) "I love this"
- the easy preferences
- speediness of browsing

you will be using opera forever

Tube - the being being back for the time being

Yes, it's free (as long as you don't mind the little ad in the upper right hand corner; but webwasher or some other adbuster takes care of that smiley - winkeye).
Give it a go, it's really good and things like the Goner worm have a hard time smiley - smiley

Potential problem. Will it work on AOL?

Hello MISE user. Your answers have been answered but here is a summary; Yes, there is a sponsored version (non spyware ("ad-aware" which is a program that detects spyware passes Opera with flying colours)).

In addition, you can find out about ICQ over at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A301041

Do not forget, once you start using Opera to pop back here and collect your membership badge smiley - smiley
