Next week's ep really looks nice and dark. By all accounts the epsiode should be a nice counterpoint to the Doctor's raving against the soldier for shooting the pig alien- the "What did you do that for! It was *scared*" rant. When we meet the Dalek, *it's* scared, and Rose feels pity for it, while the Doctor just wants it dead.

You're just sulking because everyone's talking here rather than there . I've given up trying to coax threads over there.

This is an answer to KerrAvon's post 1044 in the Dr Who thread, Rose meets her father in a few episode's time, could he be the Big Bad Wolf

I did think about that, but a bog-standard human male? Not the scariest thing in the multiverse. Unless he isn't, which means Rose isn't a bog standard human female...

I doubt that.
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf.
And we've already seen one little piggy.

Mm, Ben mentioned that in another thread.
Actually, we've seen two little pigs- the Peking Homunculus, Mr. Sin

I've got a feeling that RTD put it in to keep Who fans guessing

I know this is the spoilers, and I don't really want to know too much about what's going on, so I'll just peek between my fingers and look away quick if there's something I don't want to see (in a similar fashion to when the other half's watching horror flicks ).
Problem is I really want in on the debate about what big, bad wolf is.
I can't get out of my mind that the Dr himself is the BBW; Gwyneth said Rose has seen him, and it was the TARDIS that got spray painted - the one thing most associated with Dr Who (in our minds, I'm not talking about the characters in the episode).
What could he possibly have done?

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Apr 25, 2005
Unless he was indirectly responcible for the time war, he got upset in the first ep when the Nestine Conciousness(sp) accused him of letting his planet burn

A. Honeybadger Posted Apr 25, 2005
He did, didn't he. Was there any ref. to BBW in that one? Have to admit I couldn't make out what the Nestine was saying a lot of the time, and it's been bothering me that I may have missed something.
Dr Who - Spoilers
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted Apr 25, 2005
I didn't get much of what the Nestine said either but I'm just guessing, he's hiding something, he gets defensive when Rose asks about the War and Gallifrey and as far as I know the first BBW came from Gwyneth in The Unquiet Dead

There's a reference in End of the World too: The Moxx says to the face of Bo "It's the bad wolf scenario. I find the [something] state of the multiverse quite [something].

So it seems the Doctor is the Big Bad Wolf
Oh oh I've just thought of something else in End of the World, the Doctor gave Jabe and the Extended means, or whatever they were "Air from my lungs" basicaly he 'Huffed and he puffed'
