As long as she's like Lt Commander Data and "programmed with multiple techniques", I'll be happy, Taff!

Good premise but not really fulfilling its promise as yet ... we'll see how part II does ...

that was fun, and pleased that River Song didn't annoy me as much as I thought she would.
Be interested to see part too, but so far feels like the first really meaty episode for the new Doctor.
Amy had her dubious moments though.

oh, and in full agreement with Radox - especially during the build up to a cliff hanger!
Doctor Who
IctoanAWEWawi Posted Apr 24, 2010
really not sure about the whole ambiguity of river song, especially with all the teasers SM is putting out, she's verging on being too powerful a character I think. We'll see.

Roll on part 2

Ok ... what did I miss? I didn't feel at all scared by that episode yet everybody is giving it 10/10 for terror ...
Did anyone else notice that when Amy was trapped in the trailer with the image and the Doctor said "Don't blink" she started to wink alternatively. Seems like the easy solution to the whole thing ...

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Posted Apr 25, 2010
Fantastic episode, vast improvement over "Marketing of the iDaleks" or whatever it was called...
And Alex Kingston.
In those shoes.
And military uniform.
Sorry, I'll get a mop.

I'd love to know how Alex Kingston managed to stay upright in those shoes, I'd have been flat on my face after a couple of steps.
"I once met a man with a sense of adventure
He was dressed to thrill wherever he went
He said "Let's make love on a mountain top
Under the stars on a big hard rock"
I said "In these shoes?
I don't think so"
I said "Honey, let's do it here." "
