So tell me...
Scandrea Started conversation Oct 14, 2004
Fair warning- I am in a foul mood today, so this is not going to be a bright and cheery journal entry. If you don't want to deal with it, now's the time to unsub.
I don't understand my calculus, the kids I'm tutoring in Earth Science don't know the difference between Crouse and Carroll Hall (and get mad at me when I don't show up at the wrong place), I need to dig out my fluid flow equations for our calculus project, and I have a poster I need to print tomorrow that I've just finished all the graphs for, but haven't interpreted any of them yet.
My grades are dropping, my rent is rising, and my car is in danger of getting towed because the office hasn't processed my renewal application for a parking permit yet. I got sort-of dumped by my sort-of boyfriend. Saturday is my Mom's birthday (and her teacher's union is likely going to go on strike) and I don't have anything for her yet but I probably won't be able to go home for it anyway because I have to go out sampling because I couldn't today, /if/ I find someone to help me!
On top of that, my uncle passed away suddenly this week- in a matter of hours he went from fine to dead of kidney failure. I can't even go home to go to the funeral tonight.
Is there one aspect of my life that can hold off on having a crisis this week?

Thank you- I know I can always come here, no matter how bad of a week I've been having. Don't know exactly what it was that set me off this afternoon, but thanks for listening to my rant!
s to all!

No, I didn't hear the show- too much work I had to do, and too slow of a connection to really connect. Is it going to be rebroadcast, or should I look for it on tape?
Thanks again guys- I think I've gotten a fair bit out of my system, but this doesn't mean you won't be hearing from me...

OK- a little update- good, bad, and ugly
Good:
Poster- finished for presenatation tomorrow
GIS Exam- taken and looking promising
Calculus Homework- turned in
Bad:
Great Uncle- had the funeral which I didn't make, but called and sent my condolences
Mom- called and wished her a happy birthday, couldn't send a card, so I will pick something up nice for her instead.
Parents- angry at them because they're insinuating I'm lazy, which I don't believe is the case.
Friends- all insane. All. Insane.
Ugly:
My apartment- once again representative of the second law of thermodynamics
My day in the field on Saturday- that's a journal entry by itself, if I ever get around to writing it
Laundry- let's just not go there...
