If anyone is up to the challenge...

*will probably regret asking for this*
Please, nag me into finishing the dozen or so projects on which I'm working. Some of it is house related. Some of it is creative projects. And, a bit of it is personal stuff. Personal in the sense of spring cleaning your psyche and remodeling oneself, not personal in the too private to discuss sense.

Weel, I'm gonna start off easy (not gonnna "nag" as such), just say that you know what needs to be done & I know you can do it! Just don't try to do it all at once.

Thanks, Jazz.
The house stuff is finally moving along again after hitting a bit of a stall. The creative stuff depends on mood. And, the personal stuff is sort of progressing. It's the urge to chuck it all, that keeps getting in the way.

The house project is down to painting everything, replacing the flooring, and furniture for two more rooms. Oh, and replacing the bathroom cabinet&counter in one bathroom.
As for the personal project: I've gone down one size(would like to lose two more). Doesn't sound like much... But, this has been a long time project of dealing with hypoglycemia, carpal tunnel syndrome and a couple of minor things. This year marks a particular milestone that I would like to mark by putting a lot of issues to rest.
The creative stuff includes a bit of writing, and drawing. I'm not worried about others liking it, they either do or don't. I'll be upset if I don't like it when I'm finished.

The house project sounds like the most actual/physical work. But the personal & creative ones could definitely be rewarding too, in more of a 'personal fulfillment' sense.

If my house mate says "What's wrong with white walls?" one more time, I don't know if I'll be able to restrain myself from painting the walls goo blue with that drippy greenish blob down one side. Just because I can...
The writing is getting easier, it was really difficult to get started. I've had a bit of nagging there already... mostly from co workers who get to read bits of it.

Hmmm, actually goo blue might be the way to go...just kidding!
Yeah, writing tends to be hard to get into...then a=eventually things start to flow a little easier.

Two of my co workers and my niece agreed about the goo blue decor. An end table with that little green guy painted on was suggested...
I have written some essays, some antecdotes and a few bits of scenes. Now, all I need is a plot.

It wouldn't be too difficult: Round table, bit of green paint, red paint, white paint, black paint, glass top. A coffee table featuring the phrase Don't Panic (pink, of course). And, maybe a plaque to finish the atmosphere.
*claps hands* Here plot...
Was worth a shot, I've tried everything else.
Seriously, thanks for the encouragement. I've been writing a bit on the side in notepad most nights that I'm online.

Yup, sounds like you've thought this out!
Oh, you're welcome hun! Good that you've been multi-tasking (the notepad), just stay on course...it'll come together eventually.

Are you looking for color suggestions for the wall?
How about
fuchsia
kiwi green
petunia purple
puce.

Evangeline Posted Jun 29, 2004
Seriously considered purple, decided against it. I wouldn't want something that will clash with the goo skin and the black computer...

Plaque with a Q...
The other way round wouldn't be so bad, if I still ate fish.

*calls to Evangeline as she fades in the distance* Hey, good to see you (even momentarily) Evangeline! Been busy I'm assuming?

Hi Jazz!
Stepped out for a few days to work on a few things. Still writing... Reading a huge world history book and just got a copy of The Wicked Day.
How are you?
