How funny - this is what I just said in the forums there. It's a mostly harmless joke and does the job of throughlinking. Then again, woodpigeon didn't criticise it - I think (s)he was thinking more of it's effort in terms of brevity...
Whoami?

Got it in one, Whoami. No offense or sarcasm intended.

I have only 17 (11 on my own, 6 collaborative ones).
On the other hand, that does mean that I'm app. 250 times more sedulous that the average registered researcher ...
Now I know where a lot of my time has gone ...

::Looks up 'sedulous':: Ah!
Hi everyone! Anyone still here?
I have 1 solo, 2 collaborative, and about 6 subbed.
GCSEs? Ugh! I'm nearly finished the Leaving Certificate, which took me away from my real work for so long..
It's good to be back!

Did you loose your life, or was it taken from you? Do you have a forcast as to when you'll retrieve it?

That's just a joke on the Leaving Cert. It's a long and not very fun series of exams, and for the month or so preceding it most of us don't go anywhere, do anything, or (most relevantly) spend any time online. Now that I'm nearly finished with it, I'm frantically taking up all these activities again, trying to make up for lost time... I think I'll fully regain my life shortly after this Tuesday, when the spectre of study shall be completely vanquished.
So you could either say I lost it through inattention, or that I had it taken from me by a cruel regime.
