What has happened in New York and Washington is simply unbelievable. I was at the top of the World Trade Centre only two months ago and I am shocked and saddened by such an act of terrorism. My heart goes out to all those who lost loved ones and to the rescue workers.

I pray so hard for the spirits of all those killed just yesterday. They have been set free from this terrible world that we are now being forced to live in and I also pray that they reach their own individual "Heavens" in peace.
But most of all, my heart and prays for strength, love and light go out especially to the countless families who have lost one or more loved ones in this despicable act of violence.
I also pray for strength for the countless fire-fighters, the doctors & nurses, the police - all the people involved in the rescue attempts, not to forget those citizens giving their own blood at centres all across America.
May the spirits of the families' loved ones forever rest in peace.

again, just repeating what Researcher 184384 said. I can not believe that an other human being from this world would inflict this sort of atrrocity on harmless and innocent people. I just can not comprehend what was going through these guys heads at the time, who could think such harmful thoughts.
I believe that the USA will find who was responsible for this and I believe this time you HAVE to fight fire with fire.
My heart goes out to all those involved with this tragic incident. I wish I could be there to help.

Still stunned by the events in New York it is difficult to put into words both my feelings for those who have lost loved ones and my utter anger towards the perpertrators of this crime.
It proves just how vunerable and fragile our existence is, and how our so-called normal lifes now pale into insignificance compared to what has happened.
My heart felt condolences to all those involved.

This was an act carried out by pure evil cowards who somehow think that killing innocent people will achieve some political or religious goal.
If there is any justice in this world, then we can hope that the people who died did not suffer for long. Praise be to the brave firefighters and rescue workers who gave their lives trying to save others.
Everyones thoughts go out to the families, it is impossible to know what they are going through but all we can do is offer condolence and sympathy.

I feel sick to my stomach; the world we knew has been blown away in such an unbelievable act of terrorism.
Forgetting the who and the why of it, we need to remember those thousands of innocent people who have been massacred. My heart goes out to all those who are suffering today; those who have lost loved ones, those who are injured and/or trapped and those who are trying to deal with the aftermath.
The innocents who died were sacrifices - let us remember and honour them as such. I am not a very religious person but I pray for and send my love to all those affected. And I pray that I never live to see another day like yesterday.

I too am deeply saddened by the horrific events in America. This morning I watched the news with tears flowing down my face. It was a mixture of absolute sympathy for the loved one's of people missing and a feeling of complete helplessness! I can only imagine what Americans are going through at this awful moment in time. A war will not bring back the dead! It will just increase the death toll. I hope that one day soon the families who have lost loved one's will be able to sleep soundly once again.
My heart goes out to everyone involved,

I have watched the events in the US unfold since the first newsflash on TV yesterday at about 2.15pm. Words fail me. This is the saddest time for the world in over 60 years. My heart goes out to everyone involved in this atrocities. I found myself praying yesterday for the first time in nearly 10 years. I continue to pray for all those lost and their families and friends.
I worry about the future for us all.

Having spent the last two days watching these awful images with growing horror and disbelief, I would like to take this opportunity to express the profound sorrow and shock I have felt. My heart goes out to all those people, families and communities who have been devastated by this tragedy. I would also like to express my overwhelming admiration for those who have courageously taken part in the rescue attempts, many losing their lives in the process. They will not be forgotten.

I WAS JUST SO SHOCKED AND STUNNED BY WHAT I WHITNESSED ON MY T.V SCREENS ON TUESDAY, HEAVEN KNOWS WHAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN LIKE FOR THE PEOPLE TO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED AND AROUND THEASE HORRIFIC DISASTERS, I CANT BEGIN TO DISCRIBE MY SORROW FOR ALL THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THEASE TRAGIC EVENTS, NONE MORE SO THAN THE VICTIMS AND THERE FAMILIES.I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE THE COURAGE OF ALL THE EMERGENCY SERVICES WHO TOOK PART IN THE OPERATION, I THINK I WILL NEVER FORGET THE IMAGIES OF SUCH BRAVE PEOPLE SEEMINGLY WILLING TO RISK THERE LIFES FOR OTHERS, OBVIOUSLY IMAGIES OF PEOPLE WHO HAD DONE JUST THAT. ONE IMAGE BROUGHT IT HOME TO ME I THINK MORE THAN ANY OTHER, TWO DAUGHTERS AND THERE MOTHER WALKING ROUND THE STREETS LOOKING AND TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ABOUT THERE FATHER WHO WAS WORKING IN THE WORLD TRADE CENTRE, JUST WHEN THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD LOST HIM AND FEARED THE WORST, THEY SPOTTED THERE FATHER AND THERE RELIEF WAS VERY TOUCHING, SO TOUCHING I CRIED, I THINK I UNDERSTOOD THERE WORRY, AS A FATHER MYSELF I UNDERSTAND THAT THE THING WE VALUE MOST IN THE WESTERN WORLD IS OUR FREEDOM AND SAFETY, THE SAME FREEDOM AND SAFETY THAT CAME UNDER ATTACK ON TUESDAY, WE MUST LEARN FROM THIS AND UNITE AS A WHOLE THROUGH OUT THE WESTERN WORLD AND MAKE SURE, AND I MEAN MAKE SURE THAT THEASE TERRORIST COWARDS CAN NEVER CAST THERE EVIL AGAIN, AND ENSURE OUR FREEDOM AND SAFETY REMAINS, IF NOT FOR OURSELVES, THEN THAT OF OUR CHILDEREN AND THERE FUTURE.
