nWo, If you really want to become part of this community and see just how friendly we can be, I would suggest having a look at your personal space. there are two things you could do...
Firstly, change your space to something that doesn't threaten to 'poisin damage, harm and destroy' the community and secondly, there is a message on your space from Titania, who had put a lot of time and effort into the Noticeboard that you destroyed. You could always think about apologising to her.
If you are not here to poisin, damage, harm or destroy, why do you persist in saying that you are?

Well, in this particular case, yes. You entered this community bringing a message of hate, intolerance, poison, and revenge, even going so far as to threaten one of our researchers. Now you expect us to forgive you just because you haven't done anything particularly hateful recently.
Well, that. If you want forgiveness, prove it. Change your Personal Space. Anyone who goes there still sees nothing but threats and promises of terrible consequences, yadda yadda yadda, and you should realize that this is what people see and think of YOU. If all of a sudden you're ready to get all chummy - like and civilized, fine. Go prove it to us, and take all the threats etc. off your Personal Space. Put something chummy - like and civilized on it. Then we can talk.

we don't persist in saying we just haven't changed the page (a footnote has been added though).

nWo, I know what you're thinking. Same for a previous post. I swear, I did not make the Nine Wild Ostriches account. Nine Wild Ostriches is Not Wanted, Overall. Whoever's doing this is screwing me in the process. I didn't do it.
Whoever's doing it is being extremely rude. nWo has indeed calmed down some, although a user page change would be welcome. The Ostrich account was created AFTER nWo went into a retreat, at which point all the insulting should have dropped off.
It didn't.
It has moved from the defensive thrust I made- give mirth, not fear- to a very offensive flame war that we really don't want to start. Whoever has Nine Wild Ostriches account, please know that I have marked the page, and in the note the entire account, for moderation and a possible ban.
Let's give nWo a chance, huh? We made our point. We don't need to continue drilling it in after it hit his heart.

OK, with the footnote, the page is actually kinda funny... I hope everything continues that way.
If everything here is essentially resolved, I'm going to be on my way.
Have fun everybody!

It's far from resolved, Thog, for what he put in his journal. Let me make something clear: I DID NOT MAKE THE NINE WILD OSTRICHES ACCOUNT. Furthermore, I have flagged it for moderation because of how hurtful a mockery like this is. Spoofs are okay to a certain extent- but that pushes the limits. I do not apologise (much) for my previous attacks; however, further attacks are uncalled for. It's sort of like continuing to bomb Afghanistan after Al-Quaeda is destroyed- pointless, and it really just makes the situation worse.

True.
But that journal was posted over an hour ago - hopefully we've improved matters a little since then.

Great, that's good. It'd be really good if you could change your Personal Space to something a bit more friendly NwO. Any chance? Please?

Peta, to help finish this issue, close the book, and tie it shut, can you please prod the moderators, since you seem to be back (being American, I can't keep your schedule straight!), into looking at that Nine Wild Ostriches complaint I registered? That page shouldn't be up any longer than it has to. It looks, itself, very reasonable and mocking of bad taste in television; however, the page itself is in bad taste of mocking another researcher. He's apologised. Let's close this issue. I did not make the Nine Wild Ostriches account, and I would appreciate it if whoever did steps forward, apologizes, and wipes the page. It's every bit as uncalled for as the original action...
Sigh. Maybe we can get this all sorted out. I thought I was fighting machine guns with eggs; it seems that they were grenades...

I'll second that. I know the ACE's constantly receive guidance on how to utilise the yikes button and though the content of the Nine Wild Ostriches account is pretty inocuous it's place in this affair is atagonistic. As such and as a gesture of Good Will I think it should be stuck down a 1984 memory shute.

I note that nwo said 'u use the same tactics on us as we used on u.'
doesn't that sound fair to everyone?
are you seriously complaining that its wrong to use the same tactics back at you?
afterall you did start it!

Well, that depends on which approach you prefer: 'an eye for an eye' or 'turning the other cheek'...

A fluffy bundle of hugs with a jet-pack.
I, on the other hand, apparently seem to be a hard pointy ball with no endearing qualities whatsoever- to nWo.
To people on one of my newsgroups, I'm the newbie with a great sense of humor.
To everyone else, I'm just
