I didn't know Susan Ivanova was bisexual! Neither did Roy and he's seen more Babylon Five programmes than I have.
Claudia Christian seems to have a lot of strings to her bow.

Actually, I got the impression from the shows that she was "asexual", which was supposed to be part of her lure.
She was also supposed to be more professional and trustworthy than Garibaldi, which didn't leave much room for fooling around.

Her site says the character was bisexual, although I don't remember anything in the storylines to that effect. I remember there was a storyline about a previous boyfriend who turned out to be a nasty piece of work. I do remember one storyline where an alien ambassador wanted to seal a contract by having sex with her, and she did all the peripherals without getting to the main point, which seems to indicate that her character knew all the courting and seduction aspects.

Oh yes, she was supposed to be an extremely effective officer, dedicated to duty and all the rest. I think in his way, Garibaldi was also extremely good at his job, although he had the occasional fall from grace. I can remember feeling very sorry for him when he fell for the female trouper who was killed on the next mission. She has a great term for what they were - not exactly 'cannon fodder', but something similar.
