I've not been around much the last few months (or at all, once someone (most likely me or possibly a
) changed the settings on my browser so that cookies were dumped every time the browser closed. And my saved login info was wrong. And the "reset password" button wasn't working for me. And procrastination struck, re: emailing the moderators... So I've got backlog to wade through. Given that, and long hours on the days I work, I doubt I could've written something every day, anyway...

You can call me TC Posted Nov 2, 2020
Hi Amy! Well done for getting back in. Apparently NaJo... whatever... can't be done because there's no one to run it. Last year there was some sort of story to which people could contribute, which is not the same at all. Nothing to stop us writing more journals, though, without the pressure of having to write one every day!

I agree with TC. We can still do ~something~ to "keep our hand in" HooToo, and do some constructive writing. ...or just purge some old demons onto 'digital paper'. Whichever applies...

Hi, Amy
You've missed my grand epic "Spotlight on Crepuscular Meadows," 125 chapters about a fictional town based on the town I was born in, with similar streets but imagined characters.
Here's the link to my November epic about a murder in the town:

I don't know if you'll even like it or have time to read it, but I've written mysteries here before....

I thought I read a post a few weeks ago suggesting those interested in NaJoPoMo contribute their submissions to a designated entry.

That's true for the five researchers who are doing "Holes in history' projects through the Post.
I'm going it alone.

Ladies, gentlemen, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri:
'NaJoPoMo', the journal-writing project, was an invention of Create. Its inventors elvised long, long ago. I mean, we're talking *years*...
None of the current Create Team is interested in continuing the we-did-it-twice-so-it's-a-tradition of NaJoPoMo.
Instead, we are doing annual writing challenges. Last year, we wrote the group novel '30 Hours in Hooverville'. It was a lot of fun. It is also on sale at:
http://www.lulu.com/en/us/shop/dmitri-gheorgheni/30-hours-in-hooverville/paperback/product-8yg99v.html
Note: You must be over 18 to purchase this product. That's how hot it is. (Actually, ask Sasha about that.) Having Stuff to sell is good for h2g2.
This year's project can be found on the Create page, and in the h2g2 Post. It's called 'Holes in History' and involves stories set in different times and places.
Since we have now done this twice, it's a Tradition.
If you're interested in reading any of the five ongoing serialised novels, and chatting about them, just look here: A88000463
If you want to write journals or whatever, go right ahead - it's just not a promotion we do anymore.

You have more interesting things to read this month than usual. Can that be a bad thing?

I am better at poems, so I am writing a poem every day for my month long journal: https://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/F94863?thread=8325306&post=111152919#p111152919 https://h2g2.com/user/U198984/conversation/view/F94863/T8325306/page/1/#P111152919 http://h2g2.com/user/U198984/conversation/view/F94863/T8325306/page/1/#P111152919 http://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/F94863?thread=8325306&post=111152919#p111152919
