Bigger, stronger, better....
I'll have to get back to you on the story of my nick! I know there is one, I just have to write it first

Someone once told me that a fox is not a canine nor a feline, but somewhere in between.
You got any idea about that? I need to know if my coat should bristle or not.

I think foxes are canine.
This is what an online encyclopedia told me: "...any of various members of the dog family (Canidae) resembling small to medium-sized, bushy-tailed dogs with long fur, pointed ears, relatively short legs, and narrow snouts..."
But I suppose vixens would be a little feline-ish too...

The story behind my nick is fairly simple... I'm nearly blind on my left eye, so that leaves me with...? yes, that's right, one eye...

The story of my nick is sadly not as foxy as I might want it to be. At least not in the beginning.
I actually used the nick "Supervixen" for a while - the title of a great song by rock group "Garbage"
- but I had to abbreviate it to Suprvixn because the nicks on mIRC mustn't exceed 8 characters.
But, being me, I had to change that too because I have a thing for symmetry.
And that doesn't go very well together with a capital letter in the beginning of a nick.
(I know - I'm weird - and I'm proud of it...)
So I changed it to |vixn| because I thought it looked better. And after having used this nick for some time now, I've gotten really fond of it
And I think some of my friends agree with me being a vixen too (i.e - a vixen, not necessarily a fox...)
So there it is! See why it's not as foxy as I'd wish for...?

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Oct 28, 2001
I am as one-eyed as One-eye - only *my* blind eye is the *right* one.
But then I only use the left side of my braincell as well, so...

Are you saying you're using only half a braincell...?
My nick came about because my name starts with a B and and when I first came here, I felt I bumbled a lot....(still do)
