Seing as we danes can't shut out our sisters and brothers in Greenland and The Faroe Islands it is only fair that we include Iceland, Finland and the baltic states too. We are very similar and share a lot of history etc.
You *could* say the same about our former colonies too, I know (such as for instance the US, the british isles, Normandy, Northern Germany, Poland, Russia etc.) but they have other ways and means of forming reseracher groups (and have in fact done so already) and we really must set up a line somewhere, right?
