To be honest, though, the trains between Ayr and Glasgow (stopping by at Prestwick Airport) are usually pretty well kept, especially during the daytime. HTey also usually have the shiny new-looking trains with the digital marquee gaily displaying the next stop and every single stop after that for the duration of the trip along with the very cheerful voice of whats-her-name telling you exactly what the marquee has just said.
None of those old run-down trains that frequent the line from Glasgow to Largs, or even worse.. From Glasgow to Gourock or Wemyss Bay.
Anywho, enough of the train system.
Good luck and all the bst wishes for the job, and we hope to see you at the next SRG meet.
