One of the first clues, which I admit I missed, was Community Trademark. So Im guessing it has something to do with county councils, or police, emergency services, etc.

Silvernalot, I would have thought the "community" in "Community Trademark" refers to the European Community (now called European Union).

Des the Trade Mark have to originate within the EU to be registered a Community Trade Mark, or can I start going over all the shapes I find over here - like the blue Ford oval or the Macdonalds golden arches?

Well, "Researcher 14364510" has pi**ed on everyone's chips by Googling and posting the answer.
It is a Weetabix.

Apparently, Weetabix duplicated its application papers, cross-shredded them and sent them in as a separate application; Weetabits has still not been approved as a Trademark
