It says in bright coloured letters, "DON'T PANIC", but I lost it here in the Untied States. I can't find my Guide so I don't even know if there's a Vogon Constructor Ship in orbit, and the thumb doesn't work on Boeing 777s.
Yes dears, I am mind buggeringly homesick. Twenty-Five years here and I am still in culture shock.
I am a biker, you know, big V twin as loud as a minor volcanic eruption and about as manouevreable. I am in the center of the USA, in a place called Kansas. And yes, I wear a kilt, as a kind of cultural statement. Oh, and my ride name is "The Limey". That is embroidered on the back of my vest.
I am beginning work on a piece of fiction set in the Late Neolithic / Early Bronze age, so you will have to excuse my subject matter when I write. Anyone got a clue for me regarding the latest archaeological finds in the Stonehenge Environs? I know about the Alpen Hunter man they call King of Stonehenge, and the houses at Durrington, but that's all I know. I want to make the Salisbury Plain the centre of my story. Wessex, where are you???
