There is always someone who wants to spoil the party....

Who was the leading protagonist who kicked it all off???
Where did he start his movement???
When???

Accuracy and details are important as they vary country by country, for which QIs are available.

The main QI is UK centric....

Beware Klaxons...

No Google or Wiki please!!

Why should Taff hog all the blue stuff ?

I do know an act of parliament from that date called 'the reform act' and my wife's drank Earl Grey tea for the 30 or more years I've known her for and I think he was a involved in it but I can only think of Whigs and Tories as parties back then.

pebblederook-The old guy wearing surfer beads- what does he think he looks like?

If the Mad Hatter's tea party bears thinking about then I'm game to go for

The Teddy Bears Picnic, which would be fortuitous as an answer because as we all know, today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic.

Though 1832 seems a bit early for Giles Brandreth.

George Fox

Pendle Hill

1650s

I worked for Pendle Borough Council for some time in the 1980s. This is the second most well known thing that happened there. George Fox had a vision on Pendle Hill that led to the Quaker movement.
