An original Life, Pringle's Cook mixed with Zozo's gums all contained in hundred year old groceries mixed with croquet balls:
In a Karachi summer no issued forth.
Something declined; what by whom?
[ My first attempt at a QI and maybe my last so do bear with me if I get some things wrong or miss a point and of course I'm 10 hours ahead of you in Blighty so it might take awhile for me to reply.
Clive has been helping me but he's busy at the moment so being impatient I've popped this up (perhaps a bit prematurely) I've probably made it too easy ]

Some stuffy old Brit, Major or Colonel probably, turned his nose up when offered curried goats testes by some major maharaja type. The perceived (and no doubt intended) insult sparked a massacre of goats not seen since Dumbo broke through the fence at Mister Ramsay's. It was from these goats that Kashmir sweaters were invented.
Four legs good.

Hi Cobber!! Do not worry about the 'QI' prefix...
Been there, done that, got the 'T' shirt!!!
Right then. Logico takes over!!!!
Croquet balls. The game originated in India. Balls originally made of Ivory....(BTW, Polo also originated in India. Their ball was also originally Ivory. Did you know that you hit the ball with the SIDE of the mallet, and not the head???)
Pringle's..(Aw, c'mon pal!!!!! that is a a parsec away!! No klaxon for me! It is in brackets as a comment, not an answer!!!)
So.....
Thinks......
Cook mixed with Zozo's gums...mmmmm.....puzzling at the mo!!
'In a Karachi summer, no issued forth'??????? Perplexed, does not even make sense to me!!!
