How about the shots at the end (edited out of the movie but included in The Director's cut) of Deckard and Sean Young in the car, were either recyled out-takes and trial runs Stanley Kubrick filmed from a helicopter passing over mountains for his opening of The Shining, during the filming of which, several camera crews got lost filming the chase sequence in the maze at the end.

My favourite film - ever. I even tracked down a VHS copy of the original 'voiced-over' version (although the Directors cut kicks more ass. More Vangelis, more FX etc...)
