Well you've got all sorts of references to Henry V and the Battle of Agincourt in there, Bob.

The (Welsh) longbow came into common use in the 1200s. It was the most important waepon a field commander could use,

Until the dawn of gunpowder in the 1500s it was the best a field commander could use.

It's only the best if you use it in conjunction with others. Archers with no infantry in the way tend to be overrun quite quickly smiley - winkeye Long pikes are best, for keeping the cavalry off...

St Crispin is the patron saint of bikers. He traditionally represented shoemakers before his patronage was extended to all leather-lovers.

Canons were well established by then. Certainly there are many instances of their use in the 14th and 15th centuries...

I haven't matched your 12 and 13 to the Agincourt story. If 1415 is a date, then I suppose 1213 is the date the Fifth Crusade was launched, but I can't off the top of my head link this in.
