Now, what can you tell me about The Bridge of Hope?
Like, for instance,
1)Where is it?
2)Who built it?
3)What is it's purpose?
And for an extra set of bonus points...
4) what is the connection amongst the former of the a) one of the seven deadly sins; b) an ancient battle?
5) What happens if you try to cross the bridge today?
6) What is it's full name?
With this much to choose from you'll be pleased to leanr there is veritable cornucopia of klaxons, so as ever be bold, preferably interesting, but never obvious

The Bridge goes between East Hope and West Hope crossing the Hope River near the Valley of Despair. (Country unknown, but it is inevitable somewhere in the Hinglich speaking whirled.)

Just a thought:
As there are so many sub-sets to this QI question. Would you mind appended to each of your guess the number of the point you are addressing?
It will make the conversation easier to follow especially when we change pages.

Wasn't there some kind of aid organisation for battered women or disadvantaged children by that name?

I think there is a charity of that name in Chester.
It gives alms to projects within Chester and the surrounding area.

The Rainbow Bridge is a stone arch in america, a local native tribe believes it's a link between here and the 'other side'. It's seen as sacred and going over or under it is not allowed.
There's a story about a young boy who was returned to his people via this bridge I believe. It was just a thought.

The Vikings also believed that they could reach Asgard (with its feasting hall Valhalla) via a rainbow bridge, which was called Bifrost.

re: Battered women - if there was I don't know about it and this question is not about that.

Ah yes The rainbow bridge natural arch - yes I did know about that - I think I suffered had a temporary memory lapse, thanks for reminding me!
No it's not that. But help yourself to 6 shiny QI points because it is Quiet Interesting if entirely irrelevant.

I've not klaxoned every principality, district or off-shore territory of the UK so fear not. I"ll clear the matter up in this regard - it's not here.
