Here are a few more suggestions, in addition to those made by Fenchurch.
The few people which harness this great skills usualy use it...
"This" and "skills" does not match in number. I suggest either "these ... skills" or "this ... skill".
I think "people which" should be "people who".
Usualy shoud be usually.
Try using some GML to rework the ordered lists, especially the nested lists with letters and numbers.
I'm the world's worst typist, but I'm the first to notice other peoples' mistakes. Sorry!

Well, I'm in Israel, and would love to see you fly things about the room.
Are you going to join the ESP project?

I'd say it usually only takes about 473 tries to make it work ...
Nice article ... but next time try willing your keyboard to eliminate unneccesary typhoos from your righting ...

I agree that the article in its present form may be not according to the rules of the guide (I have to admit that I am very sceptical on Telkinesis, too). But doing some research (What is Telkinesis, History of Telekinesis, Famous Telekineters, How to learn) might make it a quite interesting article. Maybe founding a university project could help in this research.

Mr. Cogito Posted Jul 18, 2001
There is a University Project on this sort of stuff being run by Mikey the Humming Mouse, and I think the researcher is now helping out there. The relevant link is found earlier in the thread.

With the article in its present state, I would judge it as not being ready for the Edited Guide. This seems to be an article on exploring telekinetic abilities within yourself, and quite frankly, the exercises are faulty. Attaching a fishing line with a weight on it and willing the weight from side to side? The natural motion of the earth spinning on its axis will eventually nudge the weight from side to side, without any encouragement from even the most gifted human.
What do you think, Scouts?

> "The natural motion of the earth spinning on its axis will eventually nudge the weight from side to side"
you must be thinking of some other planet... the effect of the earth's spin will be to create a force upwards, and besides it's going to be far smaller than other relevant forces - like friction...

I can`t remember when I`ve read so much rubbish in my life. How the responders to this article
can write when they must be laughing so hard it hurts just amazes me.
I couldn`t be more stunned if you wrote an article about bending spoons with sheer willpower!
David Copperfield is a skilled Magician. He does not have any super/special powers that the rest of
the human race does not have. He uses `tricks`. He practices to deceive, and apparently he has succeeded
admirably. David Copperfield does not claim to be anything other than a magician. Unlike another charletan
called Uri Geller who is also a skilled magician of a sort, and a cheat, a liar and a fraud. He pretends to do things
he can`t and then makes a great deal of money out of it. Telekinesis is a work of fiction. Lets just leave it there.

'Telekinesis is a work of fiction' <- prove it!

Lucinda...
You're quite right - but the fact still remains that any object dangling from a thread will eventually start swinging from side to side; whether this is caused by air currents, the influence of the moon, or some mysterious solar wind, I don't know. I'm sure it's not me!

If a man or a woman could demonstrate that they can move material objects without touching or trickery, using only their thoughts they would be on the front page of every newspaper in the world.
Have you seen such headlines? I nor anyone else has to prove something doesn`t exist, the onus of proof is
on the person who says it does exist. Prove it.

While proving it doesn't exist (And I'm not saying it does nor that it doesn't) Tyr proving you don't have a sister.

Bornonthe20thaugust,
Please bear in mind that Peer Review is a place for *constructive* criticism. While no one would object to rational argument, steaming in and declaring that an entry is a load of rubbish is extremely unkind.
I know the author is AWOL(scouts; should this be in the flea market?), but the fact is that every time someone posts they bump the entry up to the top where it gets read by other people, including newbies, who won't be at all encouraged to post their own work here.
It wouldn't kill you to be civil.

Quite right, dastardly... In my opinion, this should be in the Flea Market. Aside from any personal opinions I might have about the validity of the facts offered in this article, I believe that any article on telekinesis should have quite a bit more information about the phenomenon. Like I said, this entry is more about developing your own abilities.
I would actually be interested in an entry on ESP... As I recall, Richard Francis Burton actually coined the term. This entry could include telekinesis, teleportation, remote viewing, telepathy, etc., and perhaps even include some films that have featured these abilities - like the Dead Zone and Firestarter.

Won't it be moved there automatically in two days time anyway? I make the date of the last posting on the 29 Jun - just under three months ago...
Skeptics can't hurt you if you don't believe in them...

I seconded it because in 2 days it'll be 3 months, but the move isn't automatic yet.
They say it'll be automatic in a couple of versions of the site, but it is a lot of work, so I guess it'll take a bit of a while
For now we just need to scout them.
