Harry Webb - aka Cliff Richards - was "front man" singing in front of The Shadows.

However, if you mean The Shadows WITHOUT the persona of Sir Cliff in front of them, Hank Marvin did most of the solo vocals.

For a time Hank B. Marvin, Bruce Welch and John Farrar had some well-deserved success as a vocal trio. They SHOULD have won the Eurovision song contest with "Let Me Be The One" in (?1978?1979?) which was the only decent British entry, but it didn't even win the National heats ....

Although there *is* a band called the Shadows with a Scott King, Z and Toy box are right. There was also a band called the Shadows which had Bobby vee as lead singer.

Elastica were sued by Wire for using "Three Girl Rhumba" in "Connection", and also by the Stranglers for blatantly ripping off "No More Heroes" on "Waking Up"
