Lovely and roomy, I can get my sewing machine and store of fabrics stowed away nicely.
First task is some nice curtains up at the porthole and then a cosy quilt for my hammock. Following those vital tasks necessary for my creature comforts, I shall be open for business.
On all raiding parties, would all you swachbucklers please keep an eye open for silks, satins, ribbons, gold thread etc. As the best dressed crew on the Main I shall need plenty of the above. Also any designer clothes I can rip off.
Thank you all

Hi there, need electricity for that machine of yours? Any particular voltage? Just let one of the electricians know!
Ooh, nice quilt on that hammock!

Glad you like the quilt, Cap'n. Nearly finished yours Floh. I had better get started on a spare set of sails next. I trust there will be plenty of sailcloth in the hold?
The machine seems to be running ok. I never think to check the voltage, just stick in my universal adaptor and switch on!

Nice patches of varying hues with the skull & crossbones appliqued on.
Can I do some tie dying in the washing machine?

hi Caerwynn i was wondering ... oh i'm sorry i didn't realise you had company good evening captin
anyway can you make me a cloak for the opera? i think black velvet with the finest blood red satin to line and a hood. i am prepared to pay you 25 golden soverigns for this trouble.
another thing i need is a black strapless corset for everyday wear as you may have seen on the paris catwalk recently. i have been told that one would suit my figure quite admirably. perhaps 25 soverigns for this also?
please have them sent to my cabin (69) when ready.
DM

I shall be delighted to take on such a glamorous commission, Dark Mistress.
Would you like any tasselling or gold embroidery on the corset?
*reaching for the velvet and fabric scissors*
This will make a pleasant change from those cannon covers and sails.

Do come in Kes, we could discuss the toll charges on the New Severn Crossing.
I am tempted to ask for a broadside when we are next in the vicinity (of the bridge). But it is a rather pretty structure and cuts at least an hour off the journey to the Valleys.

*strolls by, overhears conversation with DM, whispers to Caerwynn: Spare no expence on that black strapless corset - don't use too much fabric, though *

No dragons in sight, captain
What a wonderful patchwork, Caerwynn. Thanks
But it's time for new clothes for the south.
Any suggestions, Caerwynn, captain, DM?

I will give it some thought. The dip in the sea has thoroughly refreshed me.

Personally speaking the traditional white uniforms and braid has always done it for me. But I suppose we don't really want to look like a cruise ship.

Hehe!
How about navy shorts and the classic navy and white t-shirts? I think the cabin boys would look gorgeous.

Have you noticed how the majority of men have really shapely legs?
Life is so unfair.

Well it is a very good prosthesis Cap'n, I didn't even notice when checking your inside leg!
